Hussar girl

Shout out to all those poets
using the post-Świetlicki speech synthesizer,
because they don't have ideas
for their own poems.
Ladies and gentlemen,
allow me, ladies and gentlemen,
to tell you an exceptional story
She walked out, she walked out on the street,
blue-eyed, streamlined blonde
with mauve lips
she walked out on the street
the streets are covered in spit
not meant for her almost elvish metatarsus
the streets of this country
can be dirty
from cigarette butts.
I'm standing
from a glass I'm drinking her incorporeal,
inodorous sweat
suddenly the blonde rises above me
she's wearing something that reminds me of something
that I can't quite describe, that something
so
I get drunk
smoke three cigarettes
and I die
and she probably keeps on walking
right?

There she goes, she goes, goes, look at her go
the blue-eyed slavic beauty
walking through the streets
and she's rising
on her white and blue feathers
and she's rising above
and she's flying
flying, flying above the bloodred and white flag
the blonde is flying above fifteen-year-old boys firing red flares
boys are looking at her
boys pretending to take part in the Greater Poland Uprising
the disavowed soldiers praying for war
are all below her,
because she's flying inspired
above the nation
the blue-eyed hussar girl is flying above the nation,
nation like lava
cold and vile on the inside
the flares can be easily blown out by a child
she's flying
above the nationalists
above the boys in fishermen uniforms
the beautiful blonde was supposed to be the embodiment of Poland
the nationalists were supposed to yell: fly, Poland!
But the nationalits are clapping
looking at her and clapping
but what they are really doing is slapping her on the ass
what they are really saying is „I'd fuck that”
what they are really saying is „what a fine piece of ass”
what they are really doing is beating her up in the dark corners of the red-white streets
In the name of Poland the nationalists are raping polish women
in the name of Poland the nationalists are raping them

In the limitations of the instruments and stage presence, the duo finds the strength to carve their own path. In this work, the personal meets the political, and the unspoken meets the deafening. ... more
